APC founder Jean Touitou spent seven years taking politics very seriously as a Trotskyist revolutionary. “Everything in fashion has seemed like a joke in comparison" said Jean.
In the late 80's though he switched his energies towards trying to bring a different approach to clothing and just like his politics, he takes it very seriously.
APC- "Atelier de Production et de Creation"- translates to the creation and production of clothing. The simple, minimal design aesthetic and 'less is more' design approach is hard to find these days. The colours chosen and fabrics used to produce APC's ranges are superb.
APC really are one of the finest exponents of French style and we're massive fans.
